I think today was the coldest yet this winter. It got down to 24 degrees! It hasn't been an issue for us since we have been indoors all day.
We had a mission leadership training meeting that lasted from 10 a.m. til 5 p.m. Dave and Deb each trained on topics near and dear to them. Most of the training was conducted by the young missionaries. There is a great deal of accountability, and a high level of spirituality.
I loved the fact that several of our best Oxford missionaries are in mission leadership right now. We feel very proud of them....not that we are responsible in even a small way for their great qualities, but much like grandparents are proud of their grandchildren. In fact, we have kind of adopted two of them, and a couple of young adults.
If you watched "Why I Believe," or even just saw the so-called trailer, you saw a very excellent short video set to music, put together entirely by our young missionaries, including the music (original music written and played by an elder).
We ate our dinner quickly and then worked on preparing a game for our zone game night. I think I read the book from cover to cover, and ear-marked at least 20 games. We finally narrowed it down to one we have both played in years past. "Dictionary."
Using the Oxford Dictionary, we came up with several great and funny - and obscure words. We showed the word to all of the elders (5) and only showed the definition to one of them. They all gave their definition, and then the sisters tried to guess the correct definition. Of course, four of the definitions were completely made up. Then it was the sisters' turn to make definitions up. They were all cute and we all laughed throughout the game. It was very enjoyable, and I think they are so happy to relax and be silly.

| Only one person saw the card on the left. The rest of the team members saw only the word itself on the right. They made up some hilarious definitions. |

| Thank you one and all for this game book, because it really got used this evening. I have nearly twenty bookmarks in its pages. |
Before the game night, we attended Zoom Institute where we had an excellent lesson. We had quite a few attending this evening which is a good sign.
I would estimate that we were sitting on our living room couch attending meetings for at least 10 hours. Hard work! I understand why some of our young adults - students - are experiencing "zoom fatigue." They sit in on lectures all day and can hardly stand the thought of tuning into anything at night. I wonder if "zoom fatigue" is in the Oxford Dictionary."
