More of the Same
Another day much the same as yesterday. I am grateful. I have done several things that will make this flat a little more organized and clean. The closet in the office/miniature bedroom has been the store-all closet, where our luggage is, as well as a Christmas tree and ornaments, canned food, two 25-pound bags of rice, plastic cups and utensils, and crock pots, pans and rice cookers.
No, it is not a walk-in closet. It is a fairly small bedroom closet and as you can imagine it is stuffed full. I am in the process of organizing it. It will yet take a couple days more.
Once again, we took our walk in the evening, and chose to walk along one of the many canals that eventually feed into the Thames. It was peaceful, cool and so beautiful.

| I know. I know. You have seen pictures of our backyard castle from every angle. But I had to include another one. I have grown so fond of it. |
I have been reading as I have thought about the talk this coming Sunday. It is a temptation to prepare a talk that might appeal to all of our scholars, but on the other hand, I think the gospel, related in all simplicity can be powerful. We always always always have non-members with us, and so perhaps I will back off of the "Physics of Spiritual Light" book that I've been reading. I have very much enjoyed reading it, but trying to related that to a 10-minute talk? I don't think so.
I may revisit the topic that I usually fall back on - given a choice - gratitude.
I am so grateful for a choice.
