In a Word

We were the very first people in line to see the Van Gogh exhibit - which was, in a word - stupendous.

We made our way to St. Paul’s Cathedral, which was, in a word - inspiring.

Everything from the crypts down below to the memorials on the main level and the sarcophagi seemed to be tributes to the many men who served in the last century's wars.

We got lost on the subway's many levels when we discovered that two lines were not working. I think in the steps we took through those long corridors and up and down stairs, we might have been able to just walk to the flat by the church. After trooping around underground for 45 minutes with little distance covered, we bit the bullet, and took a cab. But it was - in a word - fun.

We met with the other seniors for Family home Evening, which was, in a word  - lovely.

The computer will not open up its wonders to us, making it necessary to post from my phone, which is - in a word - frustrating.
