Freedom Day!

Yes, it is my own little personal Freedom Day. I was out and about and in the car traveling to London, among other things. It is disconcerting that a government official stated that we may be able to do away with that on August 19. That means I could be under house arrest several more times before that date. I hope not.

We will see what the future brings. There is a headline today that screams Brits may be able to visit Amber European countries if they have proof of being vaccinated. No word yet about which amber colored countries may get a green light to visit without isolating. We keep hoping that it will come every day.

We were up very early to get ready to go to London. We picked up the sisters at 7 and headed into London. SK kept the conversation going, and I fell silent. I fell asleep at one point and slept for about a half hour. I struggled all day to stay awake. It was a tremendous time together with our zone and other zones being trained by President and Sister Thompson.

The training sessions were amazing, and I wrote many notes, but finally slipped off to sleep a couple of times. It was embarrassing to fall asleep in the meeting and I tried everything I could to stay awake. I did the same thing in a Pathway meeting, although it was much more conspicuous to be asleep in a gathering of only 15 or so people. We ended up talking with the sisters all the way home, and now I am so ready to retire!

Good Night.
