Enough

I stayed up until 3 this morning getting lunch ready, and working on a book for our departing sister - Sister Bloxham. I have started a tradition with all our young missionaries - to give them an Oxford Book to write in. They are not expensive, but I think the missionaries have appreciated them. I didn't start on this until 1:30 and it took me awhile to finish.

So by the time I crawled out of bed at 8, I was weary. We got lunch packed up and ready to go by 9:30 and headed to the church, where we had our district council. The young missionaries each keep a T-Book, where they collect testimonies from all the other missionaries they serve with. They spent time doing that this morning.

We donned our Oxford District Hoodies and took some selfies.

L to R: Sister Bloxham, Sister Jones, Elder Merrill, Elder Bowen, Elder Reybnoldson, Elder Madsen, Sister Madsen, Elder Field

We at lunch, said our good-byes and came home, where I promptly crashed. I slept soundly for two hours, cleaned up the stuff from the lunch, and later watched Institute.

We weighed our books from Peter....seventy four pounds! I am unsure how we will handle this.

The tallest books are 14 inches tall, the nissemen are 18.  I haven't found a suitable box for them yet, so they sit here by me while I type,.

It is now slightly after 9, and I am gratefully headed back to bed. We will be up and early tomorrow to deliver Sister Bloxham to her new area, pick up a new missionary to drop off at Hyde Park Chapel, and then pick up another new sister to bring back to Oxford to companion with Sister Jones (who will ride with us all day as we exchange one sister for another in two destinations.

Riding around in a car isn't that difficult, but we always come home weary after a day like that.

As much as I loved our mission in Denmark, and as much as I love this mission in Oxford, I think once we get home, we will just sleep and rest for a couple of months, recall with great joy our missions, and then say, "It is enough."
