May is Zooming

It is late, and I am dragging. I don't have the stamina I used to. I was tired when I got up this morning, took a nap in the afternoon and am now craving sleep.

It was a lovely day.  We did some shopping.  I did laundry and cleaning.

I worked on the lesson....which turned out fine.  I had worked quite a bit on a Powerpoint and half an hour before the class started, the Power Point died.  The whole screen went black, and I couldn't get anything else on the screen for several minutes....even after turning it off.

Finally, I got the computer back on, and I got the Zoom call up and running, but didn't dare try to link into Power Point again without serious problems so went ahead without it.  The problem was that my lesson plan was essentially on the Power Point, so I had to wing it.  Next week, I will make a very solid outline ON PAPER.  Oh well....I am learning.

Teaching on Zoom is a whole different experience than being in a classroom with twenty people.

We had a great mission call after that.  It is the regular Tuesday mission call.  We listened to a talk by Lawrence Corbridge.  It was outstanding.

It has almost rained all day....a lot of threatening clouds and a few sprinkles. There is rain in the forecast for another week.  I hope we get some real dramatic rain - but not tomorrow. The Roskelleys will be here in the morning and we will show them Oxford, including a trip out to our Palace - Blenheim Palace - childhood home of Winston Churchill.

That should be great fun.

That does sound like a lovely day tomorrow!

I sympathize with you on feeling tired. I frequently feel like that too.

Oh, man, I feel your pain. Last time I was supposed to share something on zoom I held a paper up to the screen. 😂
