Win Some - Lose Some

At midday we walked about a mile to deliver a bottle of Jellie Bellies to Sid, a wonderful young woman who is working night and day at her computer to get her Ph.D.  She has an incredible testimony and is steadfast in her faith. She is serving as a counselor in the Relief Society Presidency, and she has the cutest boyfriend.  He is from France and it is apparent that he is very much in love with her.  I hope it works out for them.

Other than that outing, we were here in the apartment so that I could go over the lesson for tonight.

SK thought it went well, but I think it didn't.  I talked too much, and didn't get responses from as many as I would have liked.  The ones who spoke were amazing.  One young man from Zimbabwe has a testimony that is just incredible, and I already love him.  I wanted to divide them up into classrooms, but I simply ran out of time.  I will rethink everything for next week....I will ask better questions....I will speak less....and I will try to figure out how to show a Powerpoint with a video clip while I am sharing my screen.

On a brighter note, our zone posted a video about The Book of Mormon, and SK and I are right in there with our cute young missionaries!  If you have a chance to watch, here it is:

If Dad says it went well, I believe it went well. If you have some ideas to improve it still further, even better!

I looooved the dancing video from yesterday.

I’m sure it went well!! And if it makes you feel better, I never like it when teachers divide us into groups anyway.
