Puzzling
We were in charge of our game night again with our zone this evening. We've been looking forward to it. In the last month we have had an infusion of Americans. We are up to seventy new missionaries. Last month, our zone had three Americans, and seven Brits. This month, we have 10 Americans and 4 Brits. They are a fun group. Most are on lockdown currently because the Americans have to isolate two weeks and that means their room mates do as well.
We spent the morning working on stuff around here, I worked on the lesson and cleaning. SK was indexing. At a little past noon, we packed up the car with 4 puzzles and 9 bags of popcorn. a forty-minute drive got us to Newbury where two elders live (also the ancestral home of a couple lines of my Shingleton and Rolfe lines. We didn't have time to explore but we are going back in a few weeks.
We dropped a puzzle and two bags of popcorn to those elders and pressed forward another forty five minutes to Bracknell, where we dropped off four bags of popcorn and 2 puzzles for the two companionships of sisters. We drove about another forty five minutes to Reading to our zone leader's flat. They have a third elder with them, fresh from Utah who was sent home to Utah because of COVID, and then returned. We left them a puzzle and a large bag of popcorn.
We had cute puzzles that had about nine separate frames showing baby animals all in the one large puzzle. We had them put the center picture together first. Then the rest of the puzzle. They all seemed to have a fantastic time. They were pretty intent. But they were laughing and occasionally reaching for the popcorn.
That was our day! Tomorrow morning, it is back to the WISE, CANVAS, ZOOM, and other miscellaneous tutorials.
