Taking the Day Off
Another day of little to report. I stayed in bed most of the day, getting up to walk around every now and then. It is disheartening to be so immobile. Getting up and down sends spasms of pain through my back, and bending down to put socks on is out of the question!
The real blessing here is that it happened now while we can't do much anyway, although I am still so disappointed about Blenheim Palace. SK thinks we'll be able to get back before the Christmas decorations come down....without the companionship of our young adults.
He went on several errands today, racking up nearly 3 miles - in the cold. It was 28 degrees this morning and didn't warm up a great deal.
I have an appointment to get my hair cut tomorrow. They will charge you half the price of the cut if you cancel anytime within 48 hours. When my back went out, it was already too late, so I am hoping that I can get in and out of the car and sit in her chair in the morning. I think if I take some Tylenol a couple of hours before we leave, I'll be OK.
We worked on some talks we will do in our little district meeting tomorrow. I am grateful they like us to participate. I like to prepare for things like that.
Well, I'm off to bed! Goodnight.
