Zone Conference 2
Dave and Deb go to bed later than we do....and get up earlier. SK and I are both tired, but we are so much enjoying it here at the zone conference.
Everything worked without a hitch this morning. Dave was more relaxed and gave an entirely different introduction and opening talk. He spoke for about a half hour and did a marvelous job of introducing Jesus the Christ. He then turned it over to me and I spoke for 40 minutes. Ironic....I took 5 slides out and spoke longer about the other ones. I am determined to cut it to 30 minutes tomorrow.
After lunch today, we left the conference with the other couple who planned this project with us. We took the underground 5 stops away and went to the National Art Gallery. We stayed two hours and I couldn't believe all of the incredible art we saw. I must have seen at least 20 paintings that I have only seen in books. I loved it.
We headed back and then went out to dinner with Dave and Deb. We had a truly lovely and relaxing dinner with them at a cute little Italian restaurant, and then walked back to their flat.
I loved walking along these beautiful streets at night with them. London is a huge teeming city, but it has a personality, and I can see why people love it here.
Tomorrow we will leave to return to Oxford right after lunch.
In the meantime, I'm going to bed. (I said this in Denmark and I'll say it again, "When I get home, I am going to get a down comforter.")

| We were about a third of the way down before I got my camera out! |
