A Day of Peace and Rest
The sky this morning was a glorious clear blue, and looked spectacular out of the windows high up on the front wall of the chapel. Our bishop and his wife spoke in the 2nd ward. Each talk was a home run. I loved both of them and took a lot of notes. I love being able to refer back to talks like that when I need a little inspiration. We are so blessed that there are so many many many talks that are available to us in written as well as spoken.
We had a few more YSAs back as school for most will begin tomorrow, or at least this coming week. No telling though how many will be in attendance tomorrow evening. We'll do a little shopping in the morning and then begin the meal sometime in the afternoon. Dessert will be relatively easy... ableskivers, something Berklee and I practiced last week.
We attended both wards, and then visited for awhile with many different people, which is standard operating procedure, not to mention quite enjoyable.
We came home to a late lunch and then spent a long leisurely afternoon reading and studying. I love days like this!
